Canadian Masters XC Championships Race Invitation Entry deadline: Tuesday January 27th 2004 7:00 pm for all races
Entry Fees: $20 per race plus $10.00 for the "Welcome Social" and $20.00 for the "Master's Banquet" Alternate race dates: Races, except for the Loppet, may be postponed to the following day due to weather condition. Coaches meeting: TBA - will depend on visiting skiers' needs Awards: Canadian Masters Championships Medals with printed ribbons for top 3 finishers in all categories. Awards will be presented after each race at the time & location noted on the event schedule. Eligibility: Canadian Masters' membership required to qualify for medals. Windy Lake Provincial Park is home to the trail system. Travel north from Sudbury on regional road 35 then at Chelmsford on highway 144. Continue north past Levack/Onaping and follow the signs for Windy Lake Provincial Park, and /or the ski club signs, and turn left immediately before the Windy Lake Motel. The race headquarters is at the club’s chalet, which is located approximately 500 meters from the Windy Lake Motel. TRAVEL to
SUDBURY Most convenient flights are via Toronto. Bearskin Airline flies from Thunder Bay. Sudbury is approximately 400 km north from Toronto via Hwy 400 and Hwy 69 and approximately 500 kilometers west from Ottawa via Hwy 17 (Trans-Canada Hwy). FACILITIES: Chalet with
snack bar (Bagels, cream cheese, hot dogs, Mr. Noodles, cookies,
yogurt, fruits, coffee, tea, juice, pop, hot chocolate, sports drink,

menus on different days), indoor washrooms/change rooms - Waxing
areas: heated garage with indoor & outdoor power supply next to
ski testing area - smaller wax building with power supply near chalet - please note: fluorocarbon waxes must be applied outdoors - Trail
Grooming: Trails are groomed with a Pisten Bully 100 and track-set
